Façade Improvement Program

These funds can be used for a variety of projects that improve the exterior, street-facing portion of the property. The matching grant can provide up to 50% of the funds for a project with the maximum grant award of $10,000 to any one project. For more information and to apply, click on the buttons below. Curb Appeal Awards
The Curb Appeal Award program formally recognizes property owners that demonstrate community pride and maintain their property as a beacon of higher standards to which other property owners may aspire.
The committee reviews nominations solicited year-round from the public from which a commercial property will be selected on a quarterly basis. Properties are evaluated and reviewed on criteria such as, but not limited to, general upkeep, landscape design, façade improvement, signage, and lighting. Properties will not be given additional consideration based on multiple submissions. A submission will be considered for one year from receipt.
Nominations can be submitted by completing the application or by contacting the Fernandina Beach Main Street office at (904)624-7147.
