The Fernandina Beach Market Place farmers market presents over 40 booths of artisan foods, freshly baked breads, seasonal produce, and more. Come to shop or come to socialize, the market features live, local entertainment, a Booth With a Cause, and an abundance of smiling faces.

Artrageous Art Walk
Second Saturday of every month
5:30 PM – 8:30 PM
Historic Downtown Fernandina Beach

On the 2nd Saturday of each month, participating art galleries host free art events. Residents and tourists alike can enjoy the various types of art that each gallery has to offer as well as meet the artist. Photography, pottery, copper, metal, fused, as well as stained glass, watercolors, acrylics, oils and batik are just a few of the varied media you can expect to see.

This sister to the farmers market is an arts and crafts market open on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of every month. Look for the market to be open every Saturday in October, November, and December.

Musicians for the Marina
April 13, 2019, 5:30 PM
Local musicians playing covers and original music. This ‘Second Set of music at the Marina.’ will be in the parking lot on the side of the Marina Welcome Center. Come out and support the Maritime Museum of Amelia Island, the Preservation of our Public Marina, the Preservation of Public Access to our Water Ways, and Support our Waterfront Businesses and our Local Musicians. Bring the family and your own chairs. Watch a beautiful sunset and mingle with some good folk. All donations will go to the ‘Maritime Museum of Amelia Island.’

All musicians are volunteering their time and talent! Come see Hup & Ray; The Sean McCarty Band; Tom Leon; Amy Basse; Jim Barcaro; Tony Merz and James M Geiger.

Acoustic Sessions Amelia Community Theatre’s Studio 209

Acoustic Sessions will return to Amelia Community Theatre’s Studio 209 at 7:30 p.m. April 15. Join musical director Tom Leon, Karl Davis, Jake Friel, and Josh Miller for an evening of unplugged music in this intimate listening venue at 209 Cedar St. in Fernandina Beach. Booze & Bites Tour – Amelia Island Downtown Tasting Tours

Shrimp Festival

Shrimp Festival 5K Run/Walk
May 4, 2019, 8:00 AM at Main Beach
The event hosts a 5K run for ages 9 and up, a 5K walk ages 9 and up as well as a mile youth run and 1/2 a popcorn run for young kids. This is the 25th annual run and has been a staple in our community.

Preservation Home Tour
May 11, 2019 10:00 am – 4:00 pm
Meet at the downtown Chamber Depot, near the tracks at the waterfront
Fernandina Main Street is hosting the Preservation Home Tour in and around Fernandina’s historic district. This opportunity only comes around every two years. The tour includes three homes and two business examples of fabulous preservation, including one “in-progress” – so you can witness for yourself the “growing pains” involved.

Wild Amelia Nature Festival
